How I Do EPCOT Food & Wine Without Trying to Do It All

Food & Wine is one of my favorite times to go to EPCOT, but I’ll tell you right now—we do not go in trying to eat at every booth or check everything off a list.
That would take all the fun out of it.
We walk. We share things. We stop when something sounds good. We spend time in the countries. We grab a drink, listen to music, and usually find something we love that wasn’t even on our list.
If you’re heading to Food & Wine, this is how I’d do it.
Come Hungry
This is probably not the morning I’m making a huge breakfast reservation.
There are food booths all over EPCOT during the festival, with dishes and drinks from around the world. Walt Disney World I want to actually be hungry enough to enjoy them.
Have something small in the morning, drink plenty of water, and save some room.

Share, Share, Share
This may be my biggest Food & Wine tip.
Share your food.
I'd much rather split several things and get to try more than order my own full serving at the first few booths and be completely done before we make it halfway around World Showcase.
Same thing with drinks. You don't have to finish a full drink at every country to enjoy Food & Wine.
Don't Let Someone Else's “Best Of” List Plan Your Day
I love looking at what everyone recommends before we go, but I don't think you need to hunt down every food that somebody on TikTok says is a “must-have.”
If something sounds good, try it.
Sometimes our favorite thing of the day ends up being something we ordered on a whim.

Actually Enjoy the Countries
One of my favorite things about EPCOT is just wandering through World Showcase.
Go inside the shops. Walk farther back into the countries. Stop and listen to the entertainment. Find somewhere to sit with a drink. People-watch.
Food & Wine is so much better when you're enjoying EPCOT while you're eating your way around it instead of racing from booth to booth.
Check Who's Playing Before You Pick Your Day
Food & Wine also has the Eat to the Beat concert series at America Gardens Theatre. In 2026, concerts are scheduled nightly through November 16, generally at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 p.m. Walt Disney World
If your dates are flexible, check the lineup before deciding which day you're going. A band you love can turn an already good EPCOT day into a really fun night.

Dress for the Day You're Actually Going to Have
This is not the day for an outfit that only looks cute in pictures.
You're going to walk a lot. It's Florida. It's hot. And you're literally going there to eat.
Wear comfortable shoes. Wear something lightweight. And for the love of Food & Wine, give yourself some room. 😂
This is not my tight-jeans day.
I want clothes that are cool and comfortable and that I'm still going to be happy wearing after we've made our way through several countries.
And take breaks from the heat. Duck into a shop. Ride something indoors. Sit down somewhere in the AC. Grab some water.
There is absolutely no prize for making yourself miserable trying to power through an EPCOT day.
Stay Into the Evening
Don't go so hard at noon that you're ready to leave by 3:00.
Slow down and pace yourself because EPCOT is one of my favorite parks to be in after the sun goes down.
Have another bite. Find a drink. Catch some music. Walk World Showcase at night.
You have nowhere else you need to be.
THE WEEKEND WELL SPENT TIP
Don't make Food & Wine a checklist.
Have a few things you know you want to try, but leave room for whatever looks good when you get there. Share your food, take your time, stay hydrated, and actually enjoy EPCOT along the way.
That's the whole point.
Planning a Disney Weekend?
Disney can get overwhelming quickly—where to stay, which parks to do, dining, tickets, and trying to figure out what's actually worth your time.
Tell me who's going and what kind of trip you're looking for, and I'll help you put it together.
