“Hi, I’m Erin.”

I’m the person behind The Weekend Well Spent, and I believe some of the best memories are made when we get away from the everyday and spend time doing things we love—or trying something new that we may end up loving.

Sometimes that means sneaking away for 48 hours. Sometimes it’s a long weekend, a week away, or an even bigger trip we’ve been dreaming about for years. For me, it’s less about how long we’re gone and more about what we do with the time we have.

I love the planning almost as much as the trip itself. I’m usually the one researching where to stay, finding things we might never have thought to do, figuring out what’s actually worth our time, and putting enough of a plan together that we don’t spend our vacation trying to decide what comes next.

But I also believe some of the best memories happen when you leave a little room for the unexpected.

Why The Weekend Well Spent?

Because life is busy, and our time together matters.

Between work, kids, schedules and everything else life throws at us, getting away isn’t always easy. When we do, I want it to count.

The Weekend Well Spent is about making the most of that time.

It might be a beach weekend close to home, trying something we’ve never done before, a day at Disney, camping somewhere beautiful, exploring a new city, cruising to places we’ve never seen, or finally taking that bigger trip we’ve talked about forever.

I don’t believe every minute needs to be scheduled. I believe in finding the things that are worth doing, experiencing a place beyond the obvious, and leaving enough space to enjoy the people you’re traveling with.

Because years from now, I probably won’t remember every hotel room or every meal.

I’ll remember what we did. Who was there. What made us laugh. The things we tried for the first time. And the places we can’t wait to go back to.

That’s what I want The Weekend Well Spent to help other people find too.

Here you’ll find travel inspiration, destination guides, places and experiences we genuinely love, and things I’ve learned from planning our own adventures.

And if you’d rather have some help putting your next trip together, I can help with that too.

Less planning. More living. Better memories.
